Stone Paper I: Göbekli Tepe — When Humans Built Temples Before Houses
The site that rewrote the chronology of human cooperation before agriculture.
The paper's mini-thesis
Göbekli Tepe shows that monumental human cooperation predates settled agriculture — and the very people who built it chose to bury it. The stones came before the houses; the abandonment came before any successor. Both are pieces the traditional "Neolithic Revolution" reading cannot fully account for.
